Bridged built the platform and licenses it to MEDam.com for use in Armenia. Treatments at launch: medical dentistry, plastic surgery, ophthalmology and hair restoration.

“Development of the sector is coordinated across the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy and the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, which in August 2024 established a joint framework for the development of medical tourism in Armenia.”

Two directives are issued. Ministry of Health: “Directive to hospitals and doctors to expedite onboarding onto the MEDam.com platform.” Ministry of Economy: “Directive issued to hotels to accelerate onboarding onto the platform ahead of the tourism integration.”

ARKA News Agency reports that Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met Bridged to discuss promoting Armenia as a leading medical tourism destination and its impact on the economy.

“Government Decision No. 30-L of 8 January 2026 approved the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan for Tourism Development of the Republic of Armenia, which identifies medical and wellness tourism as a developing area of the sector with strong growth prospects.”
